Whew!! We are back and we are exhausted. We had a great trip. The team didn't do so well at Nationals (this was the first year they hadn't placed in the top 10 in 3 years....) but Aimee batted .500 with no fielding errors in 5 games, so we were pleased with her anyway. It is sad to think at times the relationships you make with people through travel ball from one year to the next and may never see them again, we met a really nice couple this year who's daughter was playing her last season of travel ball before her college career that really were SO much like us in so many ways it was scary, so they made this year even more enjoyable for us! It was hot but the humidity wasn't bad so it made it bearable. We did go down a day early to go to Nashville because Cole just had to go to Bass Pro Shop, and on the way home we went to the Birmingham Zoo and then Mammoth Cave in Kentucky. It was so cool. We want to go again and spend some more time there. I am going to share a montage of photos that I took along the way. Enjoy!!

This was a practical joke on our assistant coach from an inside joke earlier in the season, another mom & I made these and he actually wore them the whole game!! Notice Ed, I think he wants an outfit like it!!
