Thankful Thursday

I am taking Misty's theme of Thankful Thursday today. I think it is important to stop and be thankful for what we have. It is too easy to be caught up with what is wrong or what could go wrong. So here goes:

* I am thankful for my God. That is he a merciful, loving, forgiving God BUT that he is also a Jealous God.

* I am thankful that I love in a country where I don't have to worry about when and where and what God I worship!

* I am thankful for my family...ALL of them. Ed, Chad, Aimee, Cole, my parents, my siblings, and extended family.

* I am thankful to have parents that never divorced!

* I am thankful for my Ya-Ya's!!!!!

* I am thankful for my WONDERFUL Sunday School class. We are a special group, in many ways!

* I am thankful that I may be able to travel to Africa in December (if I can get the funds raised). This is a life dream of mine, and it would be to take presents and to work in an orphanage! Ed said I would bring home 5 kids... I would LOVE to!

* I am thankful for healed relationships.

* I am thankful for my teenage kids, and the one grown one! It is hard to be a parent in today's world.

* I am thankful for my kids' youth group leader. Cole told me just the other day how much Pam has helped him. There is a boy giving him a hard time at school now and he has learned to just walk away no matter how hard that can be!!

* I am thankful for my faithful readers!!! It can be hard to blog at times!!

Good Luck raising the money for your mission trip to Africa! I have always wanted to do something like that, but can't even bring myself to be away long enough for the walk to Emmaus.
I will pray for your funds to be met!
