Who loves ya baby??

God does that's who!!


So, why is it that we don't really get that?? For me, I've always known in my head that God loved me but I'm not sure I really got it in my heart.


Why?


Because all we have to base "love" on is our earthly relationships. Earthly relationships aren't perfect but God's love is..... Earthly relationships will always in some way or another let us down.... God's love will not!



Love, which patient, kind, does not envy or boast, is not proud or rude, is not self-seeking or easily angered, and keeps no record of wrongs. This consummate Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres and never fails. (1 Cor 13:4-8)


After reading that verse no wonder we can't fathom God's love for us. I love my family but I am often not patient, kind and I am rude for sure. BUT God loves me and my family more than I can ever imagine!!!
